Diplomats, security experts, lawyers, business people, medical professionals, educators, and technologists pool their intellects and energies to create and maintain international development projects through our Patrick Henry International Development Corporation (PHIDC).

Under Howard G. Cooley's directorship, the Patrick Henry International Development Corporation seeks to secure the futures of developing nations around the world with practical support from this planet's most accomplished and skillful professionals.  This core mission attracts commercial security firms, private technological enterprises, educational institutions, and law firms to our expanding support system for similar enterprises beyond the territorial limits of the United States.

In December of 2007, Howard accompanied a Congressional delegation to Haiti led by Representative Brown of Florida. As a result, PHIDC has strengthened its resolve to play a role to bring security, operational democracy and a functional economy to Haiti. Further, PHIDC has agreed to provide voluntary support to micro-credit economic projects operated by the African Methodist Episcopal Church Service and Development Agency.

PHIDC's support is not limited to Haiti, however, as it seeks similar roles, particularly in the area of security, law, and governance, on a worldwide basis.

PHIDC is evolving, seeking to expand its consortium and its capabilities, from commercial security firms to private technical companies to educational institutions to law firms. At its core, however, PHIDC stands ready to provide sound and practical support to developing nations
