Kimberly
J. Phillips is a 1992 graduate from Virginia Polytechnic Institute
and State University, where she earned a B.S. degree. In 1994, Ms. Phillips
earned a M.P. Aff. degree from the L. B. J. School of Public Affairs,
University of Texas. She is a 1998 graduate of T.C. Williams School
of Law, University of Richmond where she earned her J.D.
Ms. Phillips, as a senior associate at the Firm her practice focuses
primarily on Criminal Law, Traffic Violations, Juvenile Justice, White
Collar Crime, Domestic Relations and Civil Litigation.
Ms. Phillips is a member of the Fairfax County Bar Association (Chair,
Criminal Practice Section; Juvenile and Domestic Relations Court Committee;
Circuit Court Committee General District Court Committee); National
Association of Criminal Defense Attorneys (2004); Virginia Association
of Criminal Defense Attorneys; American Bar Association (Criminal Section,
White Collar Crime Committee); Virginia State Bar (Young Lawyers Division;
Women and Minorities in the Profession (Sub-Committee Chair 1998-2002);
Northern Virginia Black Attorneys Association. She served as the Assistant
Public Defender (1998-2005); Member of Fairfax County Work Committee
on Domestic Violence. She is admitted to the Bars of Virginia and District
of Columbia (Inactive), and the United States District Court for the
Eastern District of Virginia.
